Emma's Nasty Apple

Emma's Nasty Apple is no more—at least for now. As bands do now and then we have gone our separate ways, and only time will tell what new incarnation may... uh... incarnate. Emma's Nasty Apple is always in my head and heart, but I will wait until the simpatico personnel emanates forth from the Universe. Or not. The music business is tough on a good day, so I am looking for the people who will make it a joy and worth the aggravation. Until then...

I am still available for solo acoustic performance. I love to play James Taylor, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, some old standards, etc. It's quiet and usually not danceable, so if you have a nice dinner party, birthday, etc. where you'd like some really nice background, please contact me. There are some samples elsewhere on this site. You get the idea.

We got nothing... for now. But please do check out the audio files sprinkled all over the site, and hopefully you will understand why we even bothered. Thanks!-MWR

Story behind this pic, Police asking who owns the guitar case. We all do I, say, You have to close it he says. I say what you going to do if we don't? Give a $513 ticket. You doing this under color of law? Yes. You take an oath to uphold the constitution? Yes. Write us our tickets, because we are not going to close the guitar case. We are protected by the first amendment. We didn't get tickets and you can play at Riverfront park with your cases open. Stand up for your rights people, it works

This is one of my most favorite pictures. It was in early April when we were in a music protest. Those cops almost gave my dad and rick over a $500 fine but upstanding citizens whipped their cameras out and the cops left. twas a good day.

On March 27, 2008 we were pleased to play Far West Billiards in Spokane and had more fun than the law allows. To hear the recordings of that night click on the Far West Billiards Live page. Following are some pics taken by our good friend Brad in a rather artsy mood that night (or was it the Guiness talking?).
